Mask Off

Detective Howard is on the trail of a notorious murderer with editor-in-chief Charlie Longman. As soon as Longman claims in an interview that he has found decisive evidence and wants to hand it over to the police, he is also cruelly murdered, his body being discovered in the detective's garden. Now Howard is sentenced to death and at the receiving end of a nationwide hunt for him. But the detective knows the editor-in-chief's hint. 

The murderer is supposed to appear at the masquerade ball in Venice to carry out his last murders. Then he is to go into hiding forever! Howard only has this evening to prove his innocence.
